Guests from Nairobi and Cape Town

From 6 to 9 December 2010 SICA and Kunstfactor organise a visitors’ programme for James  Njunge, teacher of acrobatics organiser of empowerment programme’s in Nairobi and Anri Herbst, professor and head of music education at the College of Music of the University of Cape Town.

The guests will visit the Music School of Amsterdam Southeast, Circus Elleboog, Conservatorium Amsterdam, Groningen Art Centre, Circus Santelli in Groningen, Rotterdam World Music and Dance Centre and Circus Rotjeknor, also located in Rotterdam. At the end of their visit, the guests will share their views of the Dutch, Kenyan and South-African education systems with colleagues of the Dutch cultural field.
